SET Plan
The SET Plan is the European Union's flagship initiative to accelerate the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies. Established in 2007, the SET Plan aims to transform Europe's energy system to be more sustainable, secure, and competitive. By coordinating national research and innovation activities, the SET Plan fosters collaboration among EU countries, industry, and research institutions. It aligns with key EU policies such as the European Green Deal and REPowerEU, ensuring a unified approach to achieving the EU's decarbonization goals
DCforEU
DCforEU is a Horizon Europe Framework Programme-funded project focused on the critical role of HVDC and DC technologies in meeting the EU's climate targets. Our mission is to support the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on HVDC and DC technologies by engaging with stakeholders, raising awareness, and disseminating knowledge. We collaborate with leading institutions such as KU Leuven, the Danish Technical University, and the Supergrid Institute to drive innovation and address the challenges of Europe's energy transition
